Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT MADURAI

Arrival at Madurai Airport / Railway station.
Meet our representative and driver and proceed towards your
hotel.
Check-in & relax.
Briefing session in the evening, by our tour leader.

DAY 2: EXPLORE MADURAI

Have a hearty breakfast and start exploring the city of temples, Madurai.
Start with visiting the most famous, Meenakshi Amman Temple, a magnificent Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Meenakshi (Parvati) and Lord Sundareswarar (Shiva), renowned for its stunning Dravidian architecture.
Then visit Alagar Kovil or “Azhagar Kovil“, Constructed in the Tamizhar style of architecture, the temple is glorified in the Nalayira Divya Prabandham.
Have lunch at one of the local restaurants. Also visit Samanar Hills, a rocky stretch of hills located near] Vadivelkari village. These rocky hillocks are home to many Jain and Hindu monuments
Later, reach back to your resort.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO RAMESHWARAM

Have a hearty breakfast and get ready to proceed towards Rameshwaram.
180 km & 4 hours drive.
Drive through one of the most beautiful roads in India.
Reach Rameshwaram, hotel check-in & relax.
Visit Agnitheertham & Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples, famous for its massive corridors and 22 Theerthams (holy water bodies).
Also, visit Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple.
Later, reach back to your hotel.

DAY 4: EXPLORE RAMESHWARAM

Have a hearty breakfast and start exploring other notable places in Rameshwaram.
Visit Dhanushkodi Beach, Known for its stunning views where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean, offering sun, sand, and ruins.
Then visit Pamban Bridge, An iconic railway bridge connecting Rameshwaram island to the mainland, an engineering feat.
Later, visit Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial, A tribute to India’s former president, located near his birthplace.

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO KANYAKUMARI

Have breakfast and start exploring Kanykakumari.
Visit Vivekanand rock memorial, situated on a rock island off the coast, this sacred monument is where Swami Vivekananda is said to have attained enlightenment.
Visit Thiruvalluvar Statue, a 133-foot tall stone statue of the acclaimed Tamil poet and philosopher, Thiruvalluvar, stands on a nearby rock island.
Later, transfer to Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram.
100 km & 3 hours drive.
Reach Trivandrum in the evening.

DAY 7: EXPLORE TRIVANDRUM

Have breakfast and start exploring Trivandrum and Kovalam. Visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a Hindu temple which is renowned for its stunning blend of Kerala and Dravidian
architecture and its immense wealth.
Visit Naipier Art Museum, this art and natural history museum houses a rare collection of archaeological and historical artifacts, including bronze idols, ivory carvings, and a chariot.
Visit Trivandrum Zoo, one of the largest & oldest zoos in India.
Kovalam Beach, An internationally renowned beach known for its three adjacent crescent-shaped beaches (Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach, and Samudra Beach).
