Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar, Local sight-seeing

The first day of this Kashmir tour package will begin with arriving at Srinagar, which lies
along the banks of the gushing Jhelum River. Srinagar, also known as the ‘heaven on earth’,
is known for its strikingly beautiful views and the crystal clear lakes. Mughal Gardens,
Chashma Shahi, and drive towards the Shankrachariya Temple are some of the places worth
visiting in Srinagar. You may treat yourself to the beautiful shawls of Kashmir too. Ice-
skating at the frozen Dal Lake is also one of the major tourist attractions at Srinagar, but only
during the winter season.

Day 2: Srinagar to Gulmarg to Srinagar

On the 2 nd day of this unforgettable Kashmir package, we will take a ride from Srinagar to
Gulmarg. Gulmarg is 49.5 kilometers away from Srinagar, and will take about 1.5 hours to
complete the trip. The ride offers scenic landscapes of Kashmir and picture-worthy spots.
Burst your stress and your worries in the quaint town of Gulmarg in the sight of the Pir
Panjal range of Himalayas, and enjoy the Gondola ride along the snow covered peaks and
Chinar trees. After spending a day in the lap of Himalayas, we will head back to Srinagar on the same day in the evening. Have a wholesome dinner at Srinagar and rest at the hotel to
prepare yourself for the explorations to follow.

Day 3: Srinagar to Pahalgam & Sightseeing (Aru Valley, Betab Valley & Chandanwari)

After having breakfast, we will start for Pahalgam on the 3 rd day of this Kashmir tour. The
distance between Srinagar to Pahalgam is about 90 kilometers and it will take about 2.5 hours
to cover this distance. While the ride is undoubtedly the most peaceful journey of this tour,
the fun doesn’t end here. On reaching Pahalgam, we will further visit the three most beautiful
valleys of Kashmir: Aru valley, Betab valley and Chandanwari. Chinar, deodar, pine and
willows are some of the many trees that line these valleys, giving them a view which is both
peaceful and photography friendly. After spending a day in and around the town of
Pahalgam, rest at the hotel in Pahalgam and prepare yourself for the fun-filled days to follow.

Day 4: Pahalgam to Srinagar, Shikara Ride

Day four of this Kashmir tour will mark a ride back to Srinagar. The ride from Pahalgam to
Srinagar is again a 3 hours long ride with picturesque views on both sides. After resting at
Srinagar for a few hours, we will head to the Dal Lake for Shikara ride, which is one of the
most incredible experiences one must have in Kashmir. Rowing through the crystal clear Dal
Lake is going to be one of the most peaceful and wonderstrucking experiences of your life.
After spending a night at Srinagar and refreshing ourselves with a long and cozy sleep, we
will head for our last destination, Sonamarg, on the next day.

Day 5: Srinagar to Sonamarg to Srinagar

After having a quaint sleep in Srinagar, the very next morning, we will head to the peaceful
town of Sonamarg, our second last destination of this Kashmir tour with Gurez valley. The
distance between Srinagar and Sonamarg is about 80 kilometers, and it will take about 2.5
hours to cover this distance. The town of Sonamarg is a perfect recipe for a quaint day in the
lap of sun kissed mountains, waterfalls and soaring glaciers. River rafting in the Sindh River,
Nilagrad, Kheer Bhawani Temple, Nichnai Pass, and Vishansar Lake are some of the places
one can explore in the town. After spending a day in and around the town of Sonamarg, we
will head back to Srinagar, to prepare ourselves for the next day.

Day 6: Srinagar to Gurez Valley

Gurez valley, falling on the India-Pakistan border is one of the hidden gems of Kashmir. The
valley stayed unapproachable to tourists for a long span of 60 years after partition, was
recently opened for tourists in the year 2007. Sir Walter Lawrence, a British author called the
Gurez valley, the most beautiful scenes in all of Kashmir. On the 6 th day of this tour, we will
head to this gem of a place. The distance between Srinagar and Gurez is about 126
kilometers, and it will take about 4.5 hours to cover this ride. The ride is though
comparatively longer, the scenic beauty of the ride makes it totally worth it. After sending a
night at the beautiful valley of Gurez, we will head back to Srinagar the next day.

Day 7- Gurez Valley to Srinagar

Day seven of this memorable Kashmir tour with Gurez valley, will take you back to Srinagar.
We will stay the night in Kashmir so you can spend the evening shopping in the city and take
home some beautiful shawls for your loved ones.

Day 8: Departure from Kashmir, Airport drop.

The 8th day, also the last day of this tour will mark the end to this impeccable journey
through the gushing rivers, clear lakes, snow covered hills, and meadow of vibrant flowers
and trees, of the Kashmir valley. We will drop you at the nearest airport, i.e. the Sheikh ul
Alam Airport, Srinagar, from where you can continue on your journey back to your loved
ones at home.

  • 50% of the total package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee if the cancellation is done between 16 to 30 days prior to the departure date.
  • 100% of the total package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee if the cancellation is done between 0 to 15 days prior to the departure date.
  • If a trek/tour is canceled at the last moment due to any government orders, harsh weather conditions, protests, landslides, or any other unforeseen circumstances, we work out the best possible alternate plans on tours/treks. At times even certain activities are canceled, the organization provides the best alternative but no refund would be provided.
  • If a trek/tour cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.). No refund would be provided.
